Forget about Halo 3, LEGO Star Wars is the one video game I’m looking forward to. The Xbox 360 version is the one I’d probably get but the Wii version seems like a fun way to really get into the game. This game is the ultimate stress buster. It rocks, it really rocks.

What could be more satisfying than blasting LEGO blocks to smithereens and getting into lightsaber duels with other Jedis? Well, other than blasting Jar Jar… I guess, none.

As I was getting ready to sleep this morning, I heard an explosion and the sound of breaking glass. Little did I know that the building right behind our house was already burning. The guard woke us and our neighbors up just as the flames were getting stronger and hotter. Because the street where the building was located is too narrow for the firetrucks, the firemen had to park the firetrucks inside our compound. So there we are, staring at the building on fire while posing for pictures and chitchatting.

Funny that the first thing we all saved were our laptops. When the guard woke everyone up, we all came out holding our laptops. Nobody bothered taking their clothes with them but everyone had their laptops with them. Oh technology, how we love thee.

The first week of the US Open is coming to a close and I’m yet to watch a single match. Though the only thing I’m looking forward to is the possible semifinal between Djokovic and Nadal, I find myself intrigued to see Roger Federer’s new tuxedo-inspired new Nike kit.

An all-black ensemble plus shiny shoes? It brings back (not-so-good) memories of Serena Williams’ catsuit five years ago.
