They don’t make this kind of movie in Hollywood these days. Movie musicals used to be a cut above the rest, now they’re simply crap.
Well, except for that certain film directed by Rob Marshall that was based on a Kander and Ebb musical. Now I wonder… which soon-to-be-released movie musical will follow in the footsteps [...]

From Elphaba to Evita?
Personally, I’m not a big fan of Idina Menzel but I loved her voice in the Wicked OBC recording. She’ll probably be just as good as Elaine Paige and La LuPone but I don’t know why I don’t think she’ll be a good Eva.
